I am incredibly fandom lazy and am generally only actively involved in one fandom at a time. At the moment it is Fake News (and the associated real news, politics, current events, etc.). Some fic will be real person fic (or slash). RPF/RPS deals with a public persona that is itself a character, and different than writing about your neighbors -- so both "Stephen" and Stephen are just characters.
